Dear God,

We pray for all the children in the world. Give strength to those who weep, the sick and those in fear today. Let all the people recognize children’s rights and protect them always. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Amen.
Father,

Help us to remember that it is not our goodness that will get us into heaven. It is our faith in your Son, Jesus Christ. In his name we pray.

Amen.
Dear Father,

We want to learn the lesson that Jesus taught us. Help us to make everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, feel welcome in our homes, in our church, in our schools, and in our circle of friends.

Amen.
Dear God,

Thank you for sending Jesus to show the power of your kingdom in the things he taught, the things he did and his death and coming to life again.

Amen.
Lord God,

I give You thanks for letting me live in this great land which is filled with good things;

Thank You for letting me be free to live in peace and to worship You without fear.

Take care of our King and Prime Minister and let them be good rulers. Watch over our other leaders in government and help them to make just laws.

Help all the citizens of our country to follow your Holy Will and to live with love for each other and for You.

Amen.
Heavenly Father,

We thank you for sending your Son to bring salvation and to be the perfect role model for us to follow so that we might live a life that is pleasing to you.

Amen.
Heavenly Father,

We praise you for your goodness. You give us all that we need and more. We thank you in Jesus’ name.

Amen.
Heavenly Father,

Help us to follow the guidance that you have given to us to make sure that our life is headed in the right direction.

God Most High,

I will sing praises to your name.”

Hello children,

How are you? Next week, we celebrate Chinese New Year. Don’t forget to wish your Chinese friends Happy New Year, okay?

Children, do you like fishing? I have a friend who likes fishing. He will spend hours fishing, sometimes he would get many fish, sometimes after spending one whole day, still he would not have caught anything. Fishing needs great patience, don’t you think so?

Do you know that Jesus’ first disciples were fishermen? When Jesus first met Simon (Peter), he had been out all night fishing, but had caught nothing. He must have been exhausted but Jesus had a surprise for him. Jesus wanted to show Peter that all things are possible with God. Jesus asked him to put out into the deep water and let down their nets. They caught so many fish that the nets could not hold them all and broke. Simon immediately realized this miracle was the work of God, and confessed Jesus as Lord.

The Bible tells us that they pulled their boats up onto the shore, left everything, and followed Jesus. From that day on, Peter and his friends fished for people and brought many into God’s kingdom.

Children, Jesus wants you and me to fish for people too. Let us take the example of Peter who listened to Jesus and caught many fish. Always remember that with God’s help, we can do great things.

Love
Aunty Eliz

In the Old Testament of the Bible we read about God showing Himself to us as the one true God. People learned that God was real, faithful to His promises, and people could be His friends if they put their trust in Him.

Jesus Christ has revealed to us the secrets of the Kingdom of heaven. The greatest of His teachings is the secret of God Himself.

He has told us of the life of God. Jesus taught us that in one God there are three persons, each equal to the other. He told us the names of these three Divine Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God has revealed this mystery to us because He wants us to know as much about Him as we can that we might love Him more in return for His love for us. Jesus revealed Himself as the eternal and divine Son of God. He revealed His Father and He, the Risen Lord, is Head of His Church.

God is our Father; Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour, the Holy Spirit is our Sanctifier, Teacher and Guide.
