PENANG: The Church of the Divine Mercy, Sungai Ara, will be celebrating its first feastday on May 1, the first Sunday after Easter. Also known as Divine Mercy Sunday, the faithful are reminded that God loves us — all of us — no matter how great our sins. He wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins, so that we will call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others.

All are invited to seek and receive merciful blessings from the Lord by joining the Divine Mercy Feastday celebrations. Preceding the Feastday there will be a Novena and Triduum Mass commencing on Monday April 25.
