SITIAWAN: On April 15 a prayer vigil was held in front of the grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes at the Church of St Francis De Sales to pray for the unconditional release of the Alkitab and for religious freedom in the country.

About 200 people gathered in front of the grotto after the Stations of the Cross and Mass. The vigil was held in four languages representing the four different language groups of the parish. Fr Arulnathan Joseph who initiated the vigil asked the people to continue praying for the cause. — By James Aman
