Forty four parishioners from the City Parish made a trip to the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, Sg Batu, Kedah on September 1.

They dropped by at the Church of Christ the King, Sungai Petani first to pray the Divine Mercy chaplet.

The parish priest, Fr Nelson Joseph came to welcome the parishioners.

Fr Nelson then anointed and prayed over the parishioners who are in need of healing.

It was then off to the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, where the parishioners had lunch prepared.

After lunch, they gathered in the chapel to pray the rosary. After this, the caretaker, Francis, gave a testimony on the healing power of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. A couple from the Church of the Divine Mercy, Penang, also gave testimonies on miraculous healings.

It was time to head back home. There was a stop at the Tanjung Dawai waterfront for parishioners to have some drinks and to shop. There was also a stop at the Sg Batu archaeological site.

So it was a spiritual trip with some sightseeing thrown in.
