Beautiful programme for married couples

The recently concluded ME Weekend brought together 20 couples who discovered a new direction in spousal relationship.

KUALA LUMPUR (Herald Malaysia): The recently concluded ME Weekend brought together 20 couples who discovered a new direction in spousal relationship. During the course of the weekend beginning Friday evening till Sunday, the participating couples were fully engaged in a personal, soul searching experience, listening intently to the Presenting Teams.

The weekend was aimed at building a stronger couple relationship and creating a deep sense of belonging to each other as a family. It was also a time for the couples to focus on each other without any distraction from the daily routine of life.

Jeffery and Joyce of Chapel of Kristus Aman had this to say of their encounter at the weekend...“We were, and remain, very touched and revitalized to live out our sacramental lives as a couple.” They also acknowledge the important presence of the Holy Spirit in a couple’s spousal relationship. Another couple, Ravindran and Thevani, Hindus by faith, said that they were truly amazed by the power of the ME Weekend and didn’t know that the Catholic Church had such a beautiful programme for married couples and thanked Fr George Harrison of Holy Family Church Kajang for encouraging them to attend the weekend.

Most couples found that the ME Weekend was a conducive time to discover new ways to enhance their spousal relationship through the various tools shared by the presenting teams comprising of Alfred and Katie, Raymond and Joanne, Paul and Frances and Fr Peter Kim SJ.
