The feastday celebration of the Church of St Louis was preceded by a multi-lingual triduum in a Thanksgiving Mass, which included a procession, adoration, and benediction. A parish fellowship was the finale of the celebration.

The triduum sessions themed Called, Chosen and Sent, were presided over by Fr M. Devadason, and Fr Matthew Bun.

The commemoration’s finale was a thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration where parish priest Fr Devadason was the principal celebrant. The packed congregation included outstation visitors.

The late evening service was followed by a procession around the church compound. The statue of St. Louis was hand carried on a wooden dias and beautifully decorated with flowers and lights.

The procession concluded with adoration and benediction followed by a fellowship held at the parish hall where parishioners, pilgrims and devotees as well as outstation visitors mingled freely. It was a time to banter and catch up with old friends and family relatives.
