The Go Make A Difference Carnival 2015 is set to make a debut at the Church of Visitation on Oct 14 from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Go MAD is a collaboration between the Visitation youths, the Parish Pastoral Council and Parish Coordinating Council. Themed Mission Towards Transforming Humanity, this carnival is expected to draw in a crowd of more than 5,000 people. Parish priest, Fr George Harrison wants this carnival to be one that welcomes all races and religions to come together and unite in our unique differences. “It’s time to open our church doors and welcome our brothers and sisters of other faiths to come join in the fun.” Fr George is also confident that the carnival will serve as a magnet that the church needs to unite all language groups. He also hopes that Go MAD will be a forerunner of many other activities in the future.

According to the Visitation Church’s Go MAD organizing committee, the programmes include dunk tank, face painting, rock climbing, colouring and flag design competition, performances from Franciscca Peters and inter-religious groups, and last but not least, a food and refreshment fiesta.

Currently, the organizing team is making final preparations to ensure a fun filled day for all our guests. There is no age limit, thus everyone is welcome! Coupon booklets may be purchased on the day of the carnival.
