New appointments in the KL Archdiocese

KUALA LUMPUR: Archbishop Julian Leow on June 8, announced the following appointments:

-- Newly ordained Fr Vincent Thomas has been appointed as Assistant Parish Priest of the Church of the Holy Family, Kajang effective May 8, 2017 until further notice.

-- Fr William Michael, Judicial Vicar of the Peninsular Malaysia Ecclesiastical Tribunal, has been appointed as Parish Administrator of the Church of the Divine Mercy, Shah Alam with effect from June 16, 2017 until further notice.

-- Fr Alvin Ho, SJ, the chairperson of the Malaysian Catechetical Commission, has been appointed as Assistant Parish Priest of the Church of St Francis Xavier, Petaling Jaya for a term of three years with effect from June 16, 2017.

-- Fr Norris Seenivasan, SJ has been appointed as Assistant Parish Priest of the Church of St Francis Xavier, Petaling Jaya for a term of three years with effect from August 1, 2017.

-- Fr Simon Labrooy has been appointed as Formator (Initiation Year Director) of College General Seminary, Penang for a term of six years with effect from August 1, 2017. Fr Simon helped build the Church of St Thomas More in Subang Jaya.
