Seventy people participated in a seder meal organised by the parish community on Thursday, March 30. The event began with the washing of feet, followed by a briefing on our compelling connection with the Jewish Passover meal.

The assembly itself was a healthy mix of young and not so young. The flow of events was smooth, with Rev Fr Rajendran leading the proceedings. The participants were led through the motions with clockwork precision and, clearly, everyone was gripped and inspired by the simple yet meaningful celebration.

Although the meal was not expected to satisfy the taste buds of most folks, everyone was quite appreciative of the ritualistic meal.
