Second Sunday of Ordinary Time: The Lamb of God
Jan 19, 2020
“Lamb of God.” We use that term so often that it is easy for us to overlook the deep theology and the unfathomable love of our God contained in His sending His Son to be the Lamb.

First Sunday of Advent: Commit to the Kingdom!
Dec 01, 2019
This is the first Sunday of the new liturgical year, the First Sunday of Advent. This year we return to the A cycle of readings, with the gospel focus mostly on the Gospel of Matthew. For those who read the daily readings, they are now from Year 1.

The Solemnity of Christ the King: The one on the cross next to us
Nov 24, 2019
Jesus did not need mercy from His Father. He was beautifully innocent. The one who was suspended on a cross for us, hanging between heaven and earth is the one whose death redeems us from the bondage of sin.

Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time: Running with the Lord
Nov 14, 2019
Two weeks from now the season of Advent will begin. That’s when the most important preparation begins. That is the preparation for celebrating the spiritual becoming physical.
