Christmas Eve saw two groups of Sunday School students re-enacting the Nativity of Christ in Tamil for the Tamil Mass and another in English before the English Mass.
At the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, both Nativity Plays saw a packed audience. The children had taken time and attended rehearsals for a month prior to Christmas Eve. Several catechists provided guidance and assisted the students on how they could perform their best, so that the message of Christmas — Jesus Christ born of a virgin and His salvation plan, could be made known and understood by those attending the Christmas Vigil celebrations.
The Church of St John Vianney in Tampin and the Church of St Francis of Assisi had some of their youths/students staging plays for the benefit of newly baptised Catholics and non-Catholics who came for the Christmas Eve Celebrations.
