The Catholic Teachers’ Association of Malaysia (CTAM) will be celebrating their 55th Anniversary on Oct 10, 2015 at the Kelab Golf Negara Subang. It has been a long journey since the Brothers and Sisters came to our shores to start our mission schools. The main objective of the dinner is to celebrate teachers and the teaching congregations who have sacrificed much for the holistic development of young minds and hearts. These young people have become model citizens in our society.
At the dinner, CTAM will be recognising the Teaching Congregations who have contributed immensely to education by presenting the Rev Bro Lawrence Spitzig Award to the representatives of the congregations. This award was inaugurated after the demise of Bro Lawrence who was a co-founder and Spiritual Advisor of CTAM.
Funds raised from the dinner will go towards organising activities and programmes for teachers, trainee-teachers and the less fortunate.
Our guest-of-honour will be His Grace, Most Reverend Julian Leow.
