Archbishop Simon Poh administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to 68 candidates at the Church of St Peter, November 6.

In his homily, Archbishop Simon explained the gifts of the Holy Spirit to the confirmands. He shared his own personal experience of how he was led by the Holy Spirit in an unexpected incident after a court hearing some four years ago.

He reminded the confirmands that they belong to Jesus Christ from the moment they were baptised in the Father’s house, and throughout their lives as they journey through their first Holy Communion, Confirmation, Matrimony and on their final days on earth.

The candidates comprised 42 students from St Peter’s and 26 candidates from the Chapel of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bintawa.

Archbishop Simon appealed to past students, parents and parishioners to come forward to serve in catechism and RCIA--Today's Catholic
