Confirmation camp for students from Holy Spirit Cathedral

PENANG (Herald Malaysia): Twenty-one youths from the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit (CHS) Confirmation class of 2014 gathered at the Holy Name of Jesus Church Formation Centre, Balik Pulau, for their Confirmation camp from Feb 21 to 23. Organized by the catechists of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, this weekend was to prepare the young adults for their Sacrament of Confirmation.

The speakers, confirmation class teachers Stephen Rodrigues and Leoreen Heah (Parish Pastoral Council Vice Chairman), Pedro Geronimo (Parish Pastoral Council Chairman), Andre Ong, David Chan and Deacon Anthony Liew, talked about the Sacrament of Confirmation and encouraged the confirmands to continuously allow the Holy Spirit to guide them in their Confirmation journey.

During Mass at CHS on Sunday, Fr Stanley Anthony during his sermon further challenged the confirmands to portray Christ to the world through our own Christ-ness after their Confirmation. -- By Aundrey Ansel
