Fr Dominic off for further studies

In 2008, Fr Dominic Santhiyagu came to City Parish to serve as assistant parish priest to Fr Michael Thoo. Two years later, he assumed the post of parish priest.

After three years serving as parish priest of City Parish, Fr Dominic is now leaving for further studies in the Philippines. His successor is Fr Nelson Chitty.

The handing-over ceremony was on June 9, in the presence of the Bishop and the two Vicars General, together with the Diocese Finance Administrator, Angeline Tan and assistant parish priest, Fr Michael Thoo.

In his earlier message to the parishioners, Fr Dominic thanked them for their support and kindness. He said he had done his best to move the parish forward spiritually and also to upgrade the parish to serve parishioners better.

He hoped that the parishioners of City Parish would give Fr Nelson their full support as they had done for him.
