North Deanery Tamil Confirmation Camp

A confirmation camp in Tamil was held in Christ the King parish Sept 24-26. It was organized by the catechists of the parish of St Anthony, Nibong Tebal for all Tamil speaking students of the deanery.

Fifty students attended the stay-in session. They were from Bagan Serai, Parit Buntar, Butterworth, Sungai Petani, Kulim and Permatang Tinggi. The spiritual adviser was Fr Arulnathan who, with his team of teachers, planned the camp. Fr Nelson Joseph from the Parish of Christ the King offered the venue for the camp.

The sessions were conducted by Lazarus from Bukit Mertajam, Janet, Fr Arulnathan Joseph, and Fr Victor Louis. The group activities were conducted by Valentina Pragasee, Agnes David, Jane and Raymond. The session was meaningful and the students learnt many valuable lessons.
