KLANG: The Church of Our Lady of Lourdes held its Family Day recently. The theme for this year was, Coming Together as One Family, One Church.
The festivities began with Mass at 8.00am, celebrated by Fr Gnana Selvam. Families dressed in traditional costumes took part in a lively procession, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of the parish.
Parish Priest Fr Gregory Chan, and assistant parish priest Fr Selva, officially launched the event. The goal of Family Day was to strengthen bonds among the various BECs and parishioners. Organised by the Family Life Ministry with full support from the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), Parish Coordination Committee (PCC), and BECCOT, the day was filled with engaging activities for all ages. --Family life Ministry
