Outing and Formation for Orang Asli in Port Dickson

Recently, youths from the Catholic Mission in Kuala Terengganu, together with the Orang Asli from Pahang, journeyed to Port Dickson for an outing cum formation session, specifically targeted for the Orang Asli.

Sr Lusiah and Sr Stella conducted the formation, group-dynamics, sing-a-long sessions, games, swimming and meditation. Catholic Mission parish priest, Fr Phillips Muthu celebrated the Mass.

It was an inspiring experience for the youths as they, too, learnt from the Orang Asli community the meaning of community living, inter-dependence and caring for one another. These all translated, simply, the meaning of being a community. The youths felt that the Orang Asli have a lot to teach them.
