“During the Fifth Penang Diocesan Youth Day, I experienced the diversity and unity of the Catholic Church. My worldview has expanded and I feel that our lives have been changed as we had the opportunity to feel the presence of Jesus. This event is a turnkey solution for our church youth. I hope to entrust the path of youth ministry throughout the world to Our Lady.” B.Bencharlton, Church of St Anthony, Nibong Tebal.

“PDYD-5 was eye opening. The four-day, three-night camp allowed me to make new friends and bond with others. I felt a deep calling to the religious life of the nuns during this camp.

“The PDYD is one of the events that I will continue to reminisce about with great ecstasy.

“For the few days of the event, I learnt a lot of new things, networking with like-minded people has helped me to take time to think about the beauty of our Catholic faith especially when I attended the Catholic Apologetics session.

“Lastly, may our living God bless the works of the hands of the people who organised this event and I look forward to more of these kinds of events in the nearest future.” Gwyneth Tan, Church of Divine Mercy, Penang.
