More than 80 parishioners comprising members of the BECs and various parish ministries attended the three-hour assembly on Nov 26.

Moses Lim, the PPC chairman, led the opening prayer after which he presented a general evaluation of activities held during the year 2014. He thanked all the parishioners, especially the BEC coordinators, for their hard work and generous support in organizing the various events. The session was then opened to the floor for their ideas, suggestions and comments. A good number gave constructive proposals for the spiritual development of the parish.

Taking the stand next was Fr Vincent Paul, the parish priest. He presented a paper on Peninsular Pastoral Team for 2015. He explained the contents briefly, ie: Discipleship Mission towards Transforming Humanity, which is set out in three stages: Transforming Self, Transforming Family and Transforming Society.

The participants then planned for 2015. The parish feast is to be held on January 25, 2015. It was agreed to have a three-day Triduum before the feastday proper. Fr Vincent suggested that the actual feastday be held on the following Sunday instead of the proper feast day on Saturday. A few BECs agreed to arrange for all the three days of prayers.

He then presented the parish plan for 2015. There will be only one activity for the year. After a lengthy discussion, the participants agreed to have a Parish Retreat. A team was formed to look into the matter, with the assistance of the parish priest.
