The St Theresa’s Altar Servers (STARS) held their annual camp December 12 to 14 at Brother’s Bungalow, Pantai Kundur.
A total of 30 participants and eight adult chaperons were present. The main speaker was Matthew Wee. The camp culminated in a Mass at the chapel by Fr Edward Rayappan on the last day, December 14.
Among the many highlights of the camp were: Ice breaking & Praise N Worship session, Morning Prayer & Rosary by the beach, Games & Telematch by the beach and BBQ and Talent Nite. Amidst the fun and laughter, there were three Sessions and three P&W devotions. The sessions were built around the theme; BORN TO SERVE THE LORD which centred on Servanthood, God’s Love and Liturgy of the Mass.
The camp ended with Mass at 1.30pm in the chapel. It was attended by the participants and some of the parents who chose to pick up their child from the bungalow. The rest of the participants boarded the bus and headed straight to St Theresa’s Church where they were met by their respective families.
