            Archdiocesan Office of Human Development - New Appointment

We wish to announce that Mdm Teo Kar Im has completed her term of office as the Director of the Archdiocesan Office of Human Development on 30 April 2023. We extend our deepest gratitude to Mdm Teo for her dedicated service over the last 2.5 years. During her tenure, many new initiatives were introduced and her zeal to reach out to those in need, especially during the pandemic lockdowns will be remembered and treasured. We wish her God’s blessings on this next phase of her journey. 

In consultation with the Board of Directors of AOHD, Archbishop Julian Leow D.D. has appointed Dr Gary Liew, age 35, as the new Director of the Archdiocesan Office of Human Development, with effect from 1 May 2023. Dr Liew was the founder and chairman of Street Feeders, a non-profit organisation that feeds the homeless in Kuala Lumpur. He holds a PhD in Humanitarianism and brings with him a passion to serve the poor and those in need.
