The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe celebrated her patronal feastday with a triduum from December 12 to 14.

The theme chosen was Sent With Joy To Heal. A two-day Healing session (Dec 9 and 10) was conducted by Fr Sebastian OFM Cap to prepare the people. He guided the community on how to receive the healing grace by expounding the Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Eucharist and Benediction, Fr Sebastian led the community to experience healing of body and mind.

Fr John Anandan OFM Cap was the preacher for the first two days of the triduum. The faithful were em powered and encouraged to spread Christ’s healing love and minister to others.

The culmination of the feast was on Dec 14 with Fr Raymond Pereira the main celebrant. Having recently returned from Guadalupe in Mexico, Fr Raymond shared with the faithful the history of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The procession followed after Mass. Many came from the nearby shops to take pictures of our beloved Lady of Guadalupe, which was beautifully decorated and placed on a carriage, as the faithful walked in procession reciting the Rosary and singing hymns.
