Chilean Ambassador visits Penang Catholic Museum, gallery
The Chilean Ambassador to Malaysia, HE Diego Velasco von Pilgrimm, and wife Dr Raden Ayu Ambara Baratawidjaja, visited to the Roman Catholic Penang Diocesan Museum and Fr Reutens Gallery at Lebuh Farquhar, Georgetown on January 5, 2022.

PENANG: The Chilean Ambassador to Malaysia, HE Diego Velasco von Pilgrimm, and wife Dr Raden Ayu Ambara Baratawidjaja, visited to the Roman Catholic Penang Diocesan Museum and Fr Reutens Gallery at Lebuh Farquhar, Georgetown on January 5, 2022.
On hand to welcome both was Fr Michael Cheah who provided a guided tour of the museum and gallery. The Ambassador and his wife were awed with the history and preservation of the Church’s artefacts.
Ambassador Diego and Dr Raden, a noted Chinese brush master painter, were impressed with the paintings which incorporated local scenery and culture.
Dr Raden said that this is so inspiring. Ambassador Diego wrote that he hoped all will be blessed and parted with MUCAAS GRACIAS. — City Parish Facebook
