Almighty and eternal God, In your all embracing love you provide ministers for your Church.

Almighty and eternal God,
In your all-embracing love
you provide ministers for your Church.
We pray for us whom you have called to serve the Church
as clergy, especially in our beloved country Malaysia.
Inspire in us a generous response towards
building friendships and nurturing the unity
of our Malaysian Church.
Jesus, open our hearts and minds
to constantly learn from you.

Grant us the wisdom, understanding, and strength
we need to follow in your footsteps.
May our lives and service then inspire the Malaysian
people to respond actively in living out the Gospel values.
Holy Spirit, grant us courage and vision
amidst the various challenges that we encounter
in serving your Malaysian people.
Mary, Mother of God and Mother of the Church,
bless us and keep a special place for us in your heart.
Give us a piece of your heart,

so full of love, service and humility,
so that we, too, can grow in the likeness of Christ.
Pray for us Mother that we may experience
this prayer of Jesus;
“May they all be one, just as, Father,
you are in me and I am in you,
so that the world may believe it was you who sent me.”
(John 17:21)

We make our prayer through Jesus Christ our Lord who
lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit.
One God forever and ever, Amen.
