I’ve just learned about the passing of Pope Francis. My heart goes out to the millions of Christians around the world who held him so dearly.
I truly appreciated getting to “know” him through the documentary Pope Francis: A Man of His Word.
He came across as a man of deep wisdom, compassion, and courage—committed to reform and offering thoughtful answers to the pressing questions of our time.

We are saddened to hear this news. On our side, under the blessings of His Holiness Kenting Tai Situpa, the Palpung Sherabling monastic communities of ordained Sangha monks and nuns will offer our prayers.
May the legacy of His Holiness Pope Francis continue to bring benefit to humanity under the blessings of Almighty God.
Yours sincerely,
Lama Tenam

Dear Archbishop Julian,
I would like to convey my deepest condolences on the passing of Pope Francis, a person and leader who I admired very much. I’m very sorry I haven’t been able to come to sign the condolence book but have not been very well this past week.
Pope Francis gave me hope that, with his sympathy and support for the people of Palestine and for migrants, humanity still reigns. May his legacy be one of compassion and love for all of humankind, regardless of religion. InsyaAllah.
Marina Mahathir.
