The feastday of St Joseph the Worker was celebrated joyously and meaningfully at the Chapel of St Joseph.
The parish triduum was held from April 28 - 30, with the theme Mercy As An Act of Love. Preachers during the feast days were Fr Fabian Dicom from Penang, Fr Aloysius Tan from Kampar and Fr Stanislaus Soosaimariam from Kuala Lumpur. There was a candlelight procession and Holy Mass on the 30th April 2016 with about 450 parishioners participating.
On May 1, the actual feast of St Joseph the Worker, Mass was presided over by Fr Francis Xavier Selvarajoo from Teluk Intan and concelebrated with Fr David. The homily was centred around the feastday theme. He also commended all those involved in the feast day preparations and thanked all the preachers.
