Dear Archbishop Julian Leow,
We join Catholics from all walks of life in mourning the loss of His Holiness Pope Francis. He was a wonderful, loving, and capable leader who dedicated himself to advocating for religious freedom and human rights. His tireless efforts in promoting the message of inclusiveness and understanding have left a lasting impact on the world. His passing is indeed a great loss, but his influence will be felt for years to come.
Our Church President, Russell M. Nelson, had the honor of meeting Pope Francis in person and holds him in the highest regard. Here is a statement from our First Presidency, the highest governing body of our Church, reflecting our deep respect and admiration for His Holiness.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you honor his memory and continue his mission.
With Sincere Regards,
President Taitama Tolman
Singapore/Malaysia Mission
