Parish sourcing for relics

A state of excitement resounded through the Church of the Divine Mercy when parish priest, Fr Martin Arlando made a special announcement during Mass on Sunday March 9.

Plans are underway to obtainFirst Class Relics of St Faustina and Blessed John Paul with the permission of Bishop Sebastian Francis.

A letter of support for St Faustina’s relic was presented to Fr Martin during the morning Mass while a similar letter for Blessed John Paul’s relic was presented during the sunset mass.

Although the application is in its initial phase, Father urged all parishioners to pray for a successful outcome for the parish to obtain the relics for veneration.
