The bishop of Faisalabad celebrates Corpus Christi. 2018 will be the Year of the Eucharist in Pakistan. "Let's become one with Jesus when we receive Communion." The Eucharist is "the expression of our call to share the divine life as individuals and as community into the full purpose of our being – living forever within the divine majesty."

Jobs must be provided for those who remain, education to their children, and "spiritual support" so that they can continue the mission of "bearing witnesses to Christ" in a Muslim-majority country. Next week, the cardinal will meet with the pope.

The initiative began three months ago, when the eastern sector of the city was freed. The university president bemoans the destruction, almost 100 per cent loss. The library held thousands of rare books inside. So far 6,000 books have been collected so far.
